What does AK-47 Mean?

First developed in the Soviet Union by Mikhail Kalashnikov, it's officially known as Avtomat Kalashnikova. It is also known as a Kalashnikov, an "AK", or in Russian slang, Kalash. The original AK-47 was one of the first true assault rifles to be manufactured, and even after six decades the model and its variants remain the most widely used and popular assault rifles in the world because of its durability, low production cost, and ease of use.

    Father of the year

Best Toy gun manufacturer out there. Nobody can compare. My 3 Year old son said I made him the happiest kid in the world. Everybody should buy their kids these guns. And the people that gave bad reviews are just stupid

    Plastic toys and children

It didn't take long for my 3 y.o. toddler to break this toy. It was a matter of a few days. I have already glued the stock back on twice. The look of the toy and the action were great. I just wish it was a bit more sturdy. He did his best to take care of it and really payed attention, but to no avail.

    Good

Makes great rifle sound with some vibrations. The material used to build this toy is bit delicate. Rifle is not too heavy is definite plus.

    Wild Christmas

Ordered 5 of these for the grandkids for Christmas. After opening them and getting the batteries they cut loose with them. 4 hours later the sound of gunfire was still going on. Kids loved them.

    Realistic for children with imagination

My eight year old son loves this gun. The size is perfect but the real seller is being able to take the clip off and on. Takes the stock off when he goes on missions.

    Cool things about the gun

It is very cool. You can take out the ammo and put it back very easily. The sound is really, really cool. When you are in the dark, you can turn on the flashlight.

    Excellent rendition

My son purchased this and we both feel like it is almost a perfect rendition of a real AK-47. He has really enjoyed playing with it and will definitely get his money's worth from it!

    Grandson LOVES it!

This is a nice gun, better than what I have purchased on other sites....Love the variety at Kids Army. My Grandson is a die hard play soldier and I have to say I have been recruited as well ( I always have to use the old guns because I am an "Old Lady" according to my grandson) .
