This replica is fashioned exactly like an m88 helmet even with the inside webbing and adjustable chin strap. It's not heavy so it is kid friendly and it feels durable enough for some light to medium impact. When the cover is on you almost can't tell the difference between the real thing and the replica until you lift it and realize it's plastic. I wish I would've had this thing when I was a kid. Definitely recommend this product to any little Soldier out there. Be sure to clarify the size because this is a 1:1 replica. I recommend buying a few of the foam helmet rings at a surplus or military store to pad the inside and tighten it up a bit.

this helmet was great but I didn't realize that it was full size. Too big for my 4 year old. So I switched for the children's size helmet which is also great.
awesome looking realistic helmet ...solid strong plastic ...will protect my sons head when i throw grenades at him............
Considering this website is supposed to be for kids, I was disappointed at the size of the helmet I ordered. The product was nice but too big for my 8 year old grandson. He has to wear a stocking hat under it and it gets hot.
I bought this for my son for Halloween and he absolutely loved it. I don't know what the guy below was looking at, but the site clearly says it's a 1:1 scale replica and it's for 11 and up, so it's not a child size toy. Also, the chin strap worked perfectly for my son and held the helmet on him with no problem all night. We have also bought the smaller helmet that they do offer here called the KIDS army helmet. It is not an M88 but it is fully adjustable and small for children.
My army loving son has wanted a "real" army helmet for over a year. He will be thrilled when Santa brings him one this year! Looks authentic and adjusts to fit a child's head easily. The cloth cover is easy to put on and take off. Glad they have the ACU cover that matches his uniform. Think it will be a hit and so glad I found Kids-army.com!
its very good when I play airsoft it protects my head.It will hold up to 500 to 550 fps
i really want it. I need a helmet that fits me. The ACU design makes it better than other helmets because it goes with the other ACU equipment that I already have.
